- Illustrate ways to protect, promote and support breastfeeding
- Interpret the Center for Disease Control's Breastfeeding Report Card
- Form a Community Breastfeeding Team
- Identify Personal Biases
Eliminating Disparities in Breastfeeding Rates for African-American Families (1.5 CERPS applied for)
Objectives:
- Describe how historical events have influenced breastfeeding outcomes in African American communities.
- List common barriers that hinder breastfeeding success for African Americans
- Identify strategies to eliminate disparities in breastfeeding rates for African American families
